This year we went to Cascade and camped at The Neptune's cabin. The Nelson's, The Basura's and the Reynold's were there too.
We started the day with the parade in town. It was pretty warm out, but of course the kids had fun.

We attempted to watch the fireworks by the lake, but the mosquito's were so bad that we had to stay in the pickup to avoid being eaten alive....so it wasn't long before we got bored and the kids got way too grumpy, so we only saw the first few fireworks and then we went back to the cabin to make smores and hang out by the fire.......

Drew was so tired....we left on Sunday morning at about 10 am and he was asleep before we made it to the main highway.....wouldn't have anything to do with the fact that he played super hard and didn't sleep a wink at night..... :)
