Potty

Here are a few pictures of Drew sitting on his new potty chair. He has not actually used it yet, he does say "potty" and try to pull his diaper off though. We know it is really early for him, so just practice for now!

Right On Track.

We just had Drew's 18 month appointment. Dr. Lee thinks he is doing just great. He weighs 26 pounds and is 33 inches tall. He is in the 50th percentile for height and weight, that means he is perfectly average! He is speaking well and his motor skills are great too. He had to get 2 shots, which weren't all that bad. He is such a big boy!
Drew's accomplishemts as of Dec 16, 2008:
~Running, Climbing and Tumbling (climbs on everything - i find him up on the table and the desk trying to get to the computer)
~Has 16 teeth
~Say about 25 words and repeat most words he hears
~Also has his own jibber jabber language
~Can say 3 words in spanish
~Has started actually speaking on the phone
~Can say two word "sentences"
~Has been to a movie (made it about 1 hour at Bolt)
~Eats lots of 'nacks'
~Goes to bed on his own, he will go to the stairs and say "ni ni" when he is tired
~Can color and draw
~Can eat just about anything
~Loves to drink 'jui'
~Loves to take baths
~Reads books like crazy - he brings them to anyone who will read to him over and over
~Recognizes himself in the mirror
~Recognizes his friends and calls them by name
~Recognizes Mommy and Daddy and Nana and Papa Brown

Santa

We took Drew to the mall to see Santa last weekend. Drew was very excited to see him. He did not cry or get scared, he ran right up to sit on his lap and then just stared at him trying to figure him out!

The Little Gym

Drew got invited to Triston's 4th Birthday party at The Little Gym. He had so much fun exploring all of the gymnastics equipment. He just kept going from one thing to the next. We are going to sign him up for a gym class in January since he had so much fun.
