Little Monkey

Drew has become quite the little monkey since he turned 14 months! He has figured out how to climb up on just about everything. I have no idea how he got up here, but when I came around the corner, there he was!

Apparently he even thinks he has to climb up to get snacks, even though they are on the bottom shelf, it must be more fun that way.

Two New Cars!

Drew got two new cars this weekend, well, not really new...we bought them off craigs list, but new to him. He loves them!

New Teeth

Drew is getting molars! He already has 4 teeth on top and 4 on the bottom, now he is getting molars on the top. WOW our baby boy is growing up fast!

Drew's Updates.

He is obsessed with sitting in and on things....He climbs on everything he can and sits down....

He is trying to feed himself....it is fairly messy, but he gets most of it in his mouth. If he can't get it with the spoon, he just uses his fingers like a scoop and that works too!

He also is obsessed with the cell phone. He loves to push all the buttons and hear someone talking on the other end, of course he doesn't say any thing back, just the heavy breathing and once in a while a laugh.

Happy 4th of July!

We had a great 4th of July weekend camping in McCall. We arrived on Friday around 1 pm and after we unhooked the trailer and got organized we tried to go find our friends at North Beach, but when we got there we realized there was no way we would find them. It looked a lot like MTV Spring Break....the beach was lined with people (mostly college kids) standing shoulder to shoulder and there were a ton of boats in the water. We also realized that we were not prepared for a long walk to the beach for Drew....so we went back to the campground and just waited for them to come back. Drew explored the camp area and danced on the patio......

Then we hung out playing "Holy Board" and eating dinner until it got dark.

Then we all loaded up in the pickup and went to downtown McCall where they light the fireworks over the lake. Drew loved the fireworks!

Saturday we decided to hike up to Boulder Lake. We hiked 4 miles round trip. It was a lot of fun. Thank goodness Travis is part Mountain Goat....he was able to carry Drew the whole way...the trail got pretty rough in some parts with lots of big rocks and downed trees. It was a little scary for me, but he kept our boy safe!

Then it was time to hike down...... and into town for Ice Cream!

When we got back to camp we all went to the hot tub to soak our sore bodies and Drew got to swim in the pool. Then it was back to the trailer for dinner and a little "Holy Board" Tourney before bed...then up bright and early Sunday morning to head back tp Boise. We had tons of fun and were very happy to spend the weekend with the Basura's, Amy and Matt, Kim, Kaitlyn and Austin and the Bradstreet's!
